Westchester Cup Live Broadcast

Hurlingham Polo Will Live Stream Sunday’s Westchester Cup

Polo fans will not have to wait two weeks to watch the prestigious Westchester Cup pitting the U.S. against England on television.

Hurlingham Polo will live stream the entire game and post-game ceremonies on Sunday from England’s Guards Polo Club at Windsor Great Park. The live stream will begin 10 a.m. Eastern Standard Time at www.hurlinghampolo.com.

The day will begin with a morning match for the

Diamond Jubilee Trophy, featuring a Prince of Wales team

against a Hurlingham squad.

Team USA’s 26-goal team features Wellington’s Marc Ganzi, one of the nation’s top amateurs and Cardinal Newman High School graduate Nic Roldan. They will be joined by Hall of Famer Mike Azzaro and Polito Pieres.

The game is the oldest rivalry in U.S. polo history dating back to 1886. It is the 16th time the competition is being held between the two countries.

The U.S. leads the head-to-head competition with ten victories. England has won their last two meetings in 1997 and 2009.

England’s 28-goal team features 8-goaler John Paul Clarkin, 7-goalers James Beim and Luke Tomlinson and 6-goaler Mark Tomlinson.

Roldan is captain of the Equus & Co. U.S. team and Luke Tomlinson is captain of the Audi England team.

In addition to the afternoon Westchester Cup match, the day will begin with a morning match for the Diamond Jubilee Trophy, featuring a Prince of Wales team against a Hurlingham squad.

The match is also being taped for re-broadcast on NBC Sports Network on Aug. 11 at 4 p.m.
